Using Saturday morning TV, Open Mind seeks to engage millions of viewers to actively pursue unique and custom learning opportunities to advance their lives.

 

Challenge

The stakes were high as Open Mind planned its nationwide debut, which included unveiling first-rate educational content to TV audiences across the country.  But, in order to advertise via public service announcements on major broadcast networks, the organization needed to quickly obtain tax-exempt 501(c)(3) public charity status from the IRS, which requires clearly articulating the organization’s objectives and establishing governance procedures and policies.
